EASY STREET 
Easy Street is a realistic setting where patients build their endurance and practice functional and community skills that are necessary to reenter the community.

Inpatients and outpatients in the physical and occupational therapy departments may practice a variety of independent living skills by interacting with obstacles that could be found in their homes and on the streets of their communities. While enjoying activities they formerly completed to fill their days patients will be rebuilding their strength and regaining their independence.

Easy Street Environments
  • Functional apartment with kitchen, laundry facilities, bedroom, living room, and bathroom.
  • Full-sized automobile and opportunity to manipulate gas pump
  • Grocery store complete with cart and check out
  • Front porch with stairs, doors, and locks to maneuver
  • Handymen and women will enjoy a workbench complete with tools and gardening supplies
