STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING
Taylor Physical Therapy offers area athletes an opportunity to participate in a six week personalized sports performance training program designed to improve speed, agility, power and strength to maximize sports potential.

Essential components of the program include sport-specific, position-specific, and age-specific skills and techniques. The training program includes a thorough pre- and post-program evaluation. The six week program can be customized for 2 or 3 sessions per week.

Benefits of an Individualized Program: An individualized program is essential to identifying and correcting an athletes weaknesses and maximizing sports potential. Athletes will be taught correct technique and footwork to complete essential agility and performance tasks properly and efficiently, thereby enhancing performance.

Individualized Evaluation: A thorough evaluation will be performed, assessing strength, flexibility, and muscle balance. The outcomes of the evaluation and testing will guide the development of an individualized sport-specific program designed to maximize performance and prevent injury. Emphasis will be placed on correcting an individual’s deficits/weaknesses in order to improve performance. Functional testing will be conducted pre- and post-program to measure improvement in sport-specific activity.
