A-P Youth Physical Development Program

“Become a Stronger, more Stable, and more Powerful Athlete”

Our Youth Physical Development Program is tailored towards the junior high aged athletes looking to safely progress their physical development. Our focus is to bridge the gap between Sports Medicine and Sports Performance through education of functional movement patterns, and implementation of form-focused overload principles. Our goal is not to develop a better sports specific player, but develop a better, more functional athlete who can excel on multiple playing surfaces.

Program Goals

  • Decrease Likelihood of Injury
  • Become a Stronger, more Stable, and more Powerful Athlete

Program Specifics

  • Cost: $55 for a 6-week session, 2x per week, 1 1/2 Hour sessions.
  • Eligible Participants: Students going into  5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade.
  • Session Dates:  Tuesday/Friday: June 10th through July 26th  (OFF the week of July 4th)

7th and 8th Grade: 7:00 am - 8:30 am

5th and 6th Grade: 8:30 am - 10:00 am

  • Location: Meet on the track at Aplington-Parkersburg High School (If raining meet in the weight room)
