A-P Youth Physical Development Program

“Become a Stronger, more Stable, and more Powerful Athlete”

This program is designed to help young athletes adapt to the physical demands that will be placed upon them in the upcoming years of competition through middle school and high school. Athletes will be taught correct movement patterns and lifting techniques on the field and within the weight room to improve performance and reduce the possibility of injury.  Our goal is not to develop a sport specific player but to develop an athlete that excels in multiple sports.

Program Goals

  • Improve Proficiency in Olympic Movements
  • Develop Core Stability
  • Improve Mobility
  • Reduce Risk of Injury

Program Specifics

  • Cost: $55 for a 6-week session, 2x per week, 1-hour sessions.
  • Eligible Participants: Students that have completed 5th, 6th and 7th grade.
  • Session Dates:  June 12th through July 26th  ~ Tuesday and Thursday – Mornings 7 AM
  • Location: Meet on the track at Aplington-Parkersburg High School (If raining meet in the weight room
